My mom forgot to pay for the internet bill, so earlier my dad asked me if he could check his email on my PC (as mentioned on my previous posts: I have been paying for a separate internet line to fix my latency issues in WoW).
Now one of the (many) reasons why I quit WoW was to save money. I rationalized to myself that I need to cut off my gaming time significantly (16 hours/day was maybe too much), and if I can’t play a game for a good amount of time, it wasn’t worth paying 15 usd monthly. But because of gaming withdrawals, my now irrational brain thinks that from my conversation with my dad, I’m actually wasting money by not playing WoW since I’m not putting my broadband into good use.

Well you can always talk to me if you need to. I’m still open to email or anything. Just email me maybe
anyways it doesn’t all have to be a waste. You could use it for something productive like watching live shows, listening to internet radio, creating your own show and then uploading it to the internet, etc. There’s lots of things you can do with a faster connection, even though you could still do a bit with a dial-up connection. If you want some more options just feel free to contact me.

You know, Gen and I were just talking about your internet connection the other day and I said, at first, that you probably disconnected it by now since you no longer played WoW meaning the entire purpose for the personal internet connection no longer applied but Gen said “I don’t think so.” Apparently, she was right. :p
So why do you still have it? And no, don’t go back to playing WoW again (unless it’s Cata already and you actually want to) just to justify it’s continued existence. : /
