Internet connection feels wasted.

My mom forgot to pay for the internet bill, so earlier my dad asked me if he could check his email on my PC (as mentioned on my previous posts: I have been paying for a separate internet line to fix my latency issues in WoW).

Now one of the (many) reasons why I quit WoW was to save money. I rationalized to myself that I need to cut off my gaming time significantly (16 hours/day was ~~maybe~~ too much), and if I can’t play a game for a good amount of time, it wasn’t worth paying 15 usd monthly. But because of gaming withdrawals, my now irrational brain thinks that from my conversation with my dad, I’m actually wasting money by not playing WoW since I’m not putting my broadband into good use.

Dusk above the clouds

I took this photograph from my plane window. I was on my way back from visiting my grandma a couple of months back. (it’s the dig-for-stored-photos-when-stuck-at-home-with-a-cold activity)

I promise to post a picture of my beloved grandma soon. She is a very camera shy person, because she doesn’t want to look bad in photos (makes sense). I am however a very persistent granddaughter, and kept taking ninja-shots on stealth mode. I don’t have a lot of photos of her that she will approve, since most secretly taken pictures tend to be all blurry and abstract looking. Nonetheless I am determined to find and post a pretty photo so please look forward to that.

On another note, I thought I’d put a picture of my grandma’s and aunt’s pet dog (I have forgotten the name >_

While I was resizing the photo my mom walked by, saw the dog, and commented on how it’s too bad such a beautiful dog died because of some illness. UGH that’s just… so sad… totally defeats the purpose of putting up the pic since I wanted to end this post with a happy note. I did change my mind about posting it, but then again I changed my mind about changing my mind, because posting her photo on the internet will make her somewhat remembered (altho >_<;; for not remembering the name still).

R.I.P., dog of my loved ones.

PS. just as I was typing in my name I accidentally deleted my WHOLE post. I tried clicking ctrl+z for undo but apparently I accidentally tapped my “c” button as well so “c” just kept on appearing and reappearing. Thank goodness for the wordpress toolbar with the redo/undo buttons that are apparently more powerful than my hotkeys.

I caught a cold while I was visiting the Christmas river side bazaars. My dad blames my current lifestyle and thinks I should exercise more so my body would get used to getting “battered up”. I didn’t do anything extraneous, besides walking around in a crowded area … which I guess does make it more alarming … >< dang ! [dad: 1, tracy: o]

I just want to say, that having a cold feels worse than having a fever. When you have a cold, not only can you NOT taste good, delicious food, but you also have to deal with a nose throat combo thing that gives you that irritating feeling every time you breathe. I can’t find the right words to describe it but I’m sure everyone knows what I’m talking about. The point is, at least you can sleep a fever out.

Although having neither would be the best option.

Colored puto

I’m supposed to meet my sister and her bf for church but I got hungry. So I grabbed some colored puto, which are steamed Filipino rice cake shaped like tiny muffins. Each color represents a certain flavor. Every time I pop one in my mouth and hit a good tasting puto, I always don’t remember what color it was. I tried taking a peek down my mouth but that proved to be not only impossible, but also straining to the eyeballs. I could have extended my tongue out so I can see it better, but I didn’t want to risk the delicious puto falling off my mouth.

I don’t know why, but my sister has been kinder to me this month. We used to never do stuff together the past 2 decades. I won’t question it so yeah, I’ll just move along and enjoy this miracle.

Oh and another thing. I deactivated my World of Warcraft account, but I’d rather not talk about it. It still stings. Let’s just think of happy thoughts, like rainbow colored puto …

Gotta go meet my sister now.

Me and a bunch of close friends celebrated Halloween last Oct. 30, 2010 by dressing up with hand made costumes.

I crammed mine the night before, but I didn’t want to end up not finishing it so I went to the gathering without sleep… thus me ending up getting sick for 3 days after the event lol.

Most of my friends doesn’t want to give me permission to post their pics so I had to edit them out.

Thanks to my dad for the costume idea hehe.

Holiday Spirits

Time goes by fast when you’re being marinated in a MMORPG. When I went out the other day, all the Christmas items for sale reminded me that I should go out mo.. I mean that it’s nearly Christmas !

It’s a Christmas cookie. I made my friends learn and bake stuff last year, as a group activity. (brought my oven over, gave them a list of what to do, etc.)

….. is someone eating the side of the cookie before it’s even ready=.= ?

I should start thinking of what we should do this year. So far we’ve done baking, mini top hat making, molding mermaids and painting them (rofl), etc. Any ideas? Maybe I should teach my non-gaming friends how to play MMORPGs….. ! [gets killed by a glare] x.x

I found an interesting iceberg while I was traveling in Borean Tundra, Northrend.

It was full of Penguins!

I just had to fly off the boat I was in and land on the iceberg to check them out. Tee hee!

It is extremely challenging to keep up a guild and leading raids but I’d have to say, it is worth it after you have killed the end boss of the game.
